Secondary 1 Registration Exercise will be conducted online.
You do not need to report to school. Students only need to report on the
first day of school on 2 January 2025 (Thursday).

Registration procedure
Secondary 1 Registration will open at 9 am on Wednesday, 18 December 2024. You can complete the registration online by clicking on this link. The online registration will close at 5pm on Thursday, 19 December 2024.

Students who wish to appeal for transfer out of AES must still proceed to register online on the link above.
Administrative Information
After the Secondary 1 Posting Results are released, the school will send a letter of offer via Parents Gateway to parents within the next two days to students who are eligible for the following:

Full Subject-Based Banding (for G1 and G2 students): Students will be offered to study one or more subjects at a more demanding level. Eligibility to study a subject at a more demanding level will be based on the AL score obtained for the corresponding PSLE subject.

Higher Mother Tongue (for G3 students)

Third Language (for G2 and G3 students)
Please respond to our notification on Parents Gateway to accept/reject the offer by 27 December 2024 so that we can assign your child to the appropriate Secondary 1 Teaching Group. You may also use the information from the notification, and your response, to select the appropriate textbooks to purchase for your child for each subject. Please purchase the learning materials for the corresponding subject level that your child will be studying.

Finance Matters
Appeal for transfer into Assumption English School
Student who would like to appeal to transfer into AES for various reasons should download and complete this appeal application form and submit it together with supporting documents via email at aes@moe.edu.sg by 20 December 2024, 5.00 p.m.
Consideration for any transfer is based on the following:

Student’s PSLE score must meet the school’s actual cut-off point (COP) of the current year's S1 Posting.

The school must have available vacancies.
Appeal for transfer out due to serious medical conditions
Students who would like to request for a school transfer due to medical reasons will need to submit their appeal at AES in person on 19 December 2024, from 8.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. Parents are to call the general office at 6572 9100 to make an appointment to submit the appeal in person. All appeals must be accompanied by relevant supporting documents, such as medical reports and / or letters from doctors.
The staff at AES will help you to file your appeal and the appeal results will be released by early January. However, submitting an appeal does not guarantee school transfer will be acceded.
Students should continue to attend lessons at AES while waiting for the appeal results.

Art Elective Programme/Music Elective Programme
If your child/ward exhibits interest, potential and passion for Art or Music, he/she can apply for Art/Music Elective Programme (AEP/MEP).
