Technology Enabled Learning
There is no doubt that technological advancements are changing the way we live, work and learn. To stay relevant, our education must evolve in parallel to prepare our students for an increasingly digitalised world. Technology-enabled learning is a key facet of learning at Assumption English School. Since 2024, AES has onboarded the first phase of MOE's EdTech Masterplan 2030. This shows that we're not just keeping up with the times - we're ahead of the curve when it comes to leveraging Education Technology (EdTech) to enhance teaching and learning to a whole new level!
Vision: Growing future-ready teachers and students in a technology-enabled learning environment
To integrate technology meaningfully into learning, teachers, too, have to upskill themselves. AES strives to provide meaningful opportunities for growth for both teachers and students.
-
Future-ready teachers: Adaptable to evolving educational trends; collaborative learning designers proficient in e-pedagogy to design learning using technology
-
Future-ready students: Confident lifelong learners who embrace learning with joy and purpose; equipped with digital literacy and technological skills and emerging 21st century competencies
-
Technology-enabled learning environment: Intelligent, responsive, digitally-connected
