National Day Celebration - Together, Our Singapore Spirit
This year’s NDP theme is ‘Together Our Singapore Spirit’
‘Together’ evokes our common Singapore identity and Singaporeans coming together as one united people.
‘Our Singapore Spirit’ calls on Singaporeans to draw new strength from our “can-do” spirit amidst challenging circumstances from COVID-19 and potential disruptions in the new decade. We look to reinvigorate the Singapore Spirit - encouraging Singaporeans to embrace a “dare-to-try” attitude, and reinvent to overturn our natural and geographical constraints.

NS Engagement / SAF Day 2021
This year, we invited some of our staff to share their experiences when serving NS. Some have also shared their experiences as parents, when their sons served NS.
Racial Harmony Day - Common Spaces, Connected Communities
Made of hexagonal cells, a honeycomb is built by honey bees to contain larvae and store honey & pollen. The hexagonal shape of the cells give the honeycomb added strength, and allow the cells to be connected easily – Connected communities.
Hence our AssumptionKnights designed their own honeycombs and we have joined some of their work together to form our AES Honeycomb!
Back by popular demand, the Coffee of my Eye activity allows AssumptionKnights to pen down and share their narratives, stories of friendships that they treasure.

Boys’ Town Virtual Flag Day 2020
Every year, AssumptionKnights join this event to raise funds and give back to society. Unfortunately, we are unable to continue streets collection this year due to the Covid-19 situation. Instead, Boys’ Town Flag Day 2020 will continue on online platforms. We appeal to parents to support by donating and sharing the Boys’ Town Virtual Flag Day 2020 Giving.sg campaign with friends and family members.
The proceeds from the Flag Day will be channelled to help children and youth-in-need become socially integrated, responsible and contributing members of society.
Our AssumptionKnights have contributed in their own ways, by creating posters and videos to raise awareness of this fund-raising event.

Teachers’ Day - Cher-minate!
According to the theme, our student leaders designed and prepared meaningful invitation cards to invite teachers for the occasion.
We Cher-minators received the Sec 1 students, just like how a gardener lovingly sows his seeds in a pot, eager to watch them grow.
The Cher-minator constantly keeps the precious seedling within sight, giving it only the best.
Day or night, the Cher-minator cares for the seedling and protects it.
Patiently and lovingly, the Cher-minator continues to stand by the budding plant's side as it matures.
Everyday, the Cher-minator showers the plant with love, passing knowledge on to it.
Before long, the flowers bloom, the plant has finally matured, ready to conquer the world.
Students ask, teachers answer!
Our student posted questions and student leaders asked our teachers, so that we get to
know our Assumption Teachers a little bit more than the subjects that they teach!
Appreciation to our teachers
Our AssumptionKnights and parents from the Parents’ Support Group have prepared
this wonderful video montage to thank our teachers for their selfless contributions.

National Day Celebration - Together, A Stronger Singapore
This year’s NDP theme, ‘Together A Stronger Singapore’ is a rallying call for Singaporeans to play their part to push forward and determine Singapore’s future, in spite of the difficulties and crises.
As a school, this year’s celebration aims to unite AssumptionKnights to contribute in their individual ways, and collectively achieve a common goal, to show that we can be stronger as one, when we work together.

Youth Day Celebration - Power of YOUth
As part of the Youth Day celebrations this year, the Student Council organised a Social Influencer contest for AssumptionKnights to take part in. Each class had to bring forth issues concerning youth and our society that resonate with them most by creating campaign posters and videos to rally support for their cause.
By harnessing social media for a good cause, we hope to show just how powerful the voices of our AES youths can be.
Here are some of the winning submissions:
Sec 1 - Class 1/5 - Giving ex-offenders a second chance
Sec 4 & 5 - Class 5/1 - Raising awareness for mental health
